Knows how you operate, not just how a project operates.
Generic AI knows how projects work in general. Emerjent knows how your agency works: how you scope, how you run UAT, what done means, and what each client prefers. Your process stops living in one person's head and starts running in every project.
Turn-by-turn for every project.
Your process is the route. Every teammate sees where the project is, where it should be, and the next turn. When a client throws a detour, the route updates and everyone sees the new next turn. Nobody has to ask in Slack where things stand, and nobody redoes work someone already finished.
Start before your process is written down.
You don't need your process figured out first. Emerjent is where you figure it out, while you do the work. Your team shapes each step as they run it, and you decide what becomes the standard. Retire the 20-page process doc nobody reads. The process lives where the work happens, so it stays current.
Describe it once. Your whole team runs it.
Turn your best operator's process into a workflow, an agent or a skill by describing it in plain English. No code, no developer, no technical background. If you can explain it to a new hire, you can build it.
Anyone can build. You decide who does.
- You choose who can build and change workflows, agents and skills.
- Anyone on the team can suggest a better step; you decide what becomes the standard.
- Nothing a workflow drafts reaches a client until someone on your team says so.
Learn how you do it by doing it.
Each step shows what's expected and why: what done looks like, who owns it, and what the client should see. A new teammate learns the agency's way on the job, not from a binder. As they get the hang of a step, the guidance steps back.
- What's expected
- Agenda sent 2 days ahead; success criteria agreed on the call
- Why it matters
- Every later change order is measured against what was agreed here
- Owner
- Delivery lead
- Done looks like
- Kickoff notes published; first milestone dated
Catch me up.
A teammate new to an account asks and gets the whole history, with sources: what was agreed, what changed, and who decided. Every answer links back to the step, meeting or note it came from, so nobody has to take it on faith.

How your standard gets sharper.
Someone finds a better way.
A teammate proposes an edit to a step, right where they're working.
You decide.
The owner of that step reviews the change and accepts it or sends it back.
Everyone gets it.
The accepted step becomes the standard on every project from then on.
Your process is internal. Clients see their project, not your playbook.
Questions people ask about this.
Do we need our process documented before we start?
No. Most agencies start with a rough outline or nothing at all. Your team shapes each step while running real projects, and you decide which version becomes the standard. The process gets written down as a side effect of doing the work, so you never have to stop and produce a manual before you can begin.
Does the AI change our process on its own?
No. Teammates propose edits to a step, and the step's owner accepts or rejects each one. Nothing about your standard changes without a person deciding it should. The AI can help draft a step or answer questions about it, but who builds and who approves stays your call.
What is a step contract?
A step contract describes one step of your process: what's expected, why it matters, who owns it and what done looks like. Contracts can come from a starter pack, from your agency's standard, or from a single project, and every project shows which layer each step came from.
Can our clients see our internal process?
No. Your process, its step contracts and the guidance your team sees are internal to your agency. Clients see their own project through your branded portal, showing only what your team chooses to publish. How you work stays yours, even while clients see the results of it.
How does a new teammate get up to speed on an account?
They ask Emerjent to catch them up. They get the account's history with sources: what was agreed, what changed, who decided and where each fact came from. Each step also explains what's expected and why, so they learn your way of working by doing the work.
Your expertise stays yours, and gets sharper with every project.
Consistent, no matter who's on the project.
